WEEK 2 NICKS PICKS: THE $200 CARD
Week 1 taught us something.
You can love a player. You can love a matchup. You can love the number.
And one dud can still blow up half your card.
So Week 2 is different.
I don’t think we have three obvious “anchors” that I want jammed into every parlay this week.
What we DO have is something potentially more interesting:
A deep board of plus-money value.
There are TDs sitting at +300, +350, +400.
Receiving ladders at +400, +700, +900 and even +1300.
So instead of trying to predict the three guys who absolutely smash, we’re spreading our exposure and building 49 different paths to a big payout.
Same bankroll.
$200 total.
But a much more diversified attack.
The goal remains the same:
Small bets. Big wins. Hidden value.
THE PLAYERS WE’RE TARGETING
These are not ranked purely by who is “most likely” to hit.
That’s not what Nicks Picks is about.
We’re looking for the intersection of opportunity + matchup + role + price.
A -180 TD might be more likely to happen than a +350 TD.
That doesn't necessarily make it the better piece of a parlay.
TIER 1 — OUR FAVORITE VALUE
Dallas Goedert — TD +215 / 60+ Yards +250
We’re going right back.
Goedert gives us two ways to play essentially the same thesis without putting the exact same bet on every slip.
TD +215 gives us the scoring route.
60+ +250 gives us the volume route.
I like both.
Jordan Addison — TD +280 / 80+ Yards +458
This might be my favorite bounce-back spot on the board.
Addison didn't catch a ball last week.
Perfect.
Everyone else can jump off.
We're getting +280 for a TD and a monster +458 for 80+ against a Chicago defense we're willing to attack.
I’m going to have Addison sprinkled throughout this card.
Not because he's a lock.
Because I think the price is worth the risk.
Emeka Egbuka — TD +155 / 90+ +342 / 100+ +502
Another player where we can attack different outcomes depending on the size of the ticket.
The TD is the safer version.
90+ starts getting interesting.
And 100+ at +502 becomes a great multiplier on the smaller bets.
Juwan Johnson — TD +350
This is exactly the kind of number we're hunting.
We're not being asked to lay juice.
We're getting 3.5-to-1 on one touchdown.
That's useful.
Mike Gesicki — TD +340
Another pure Nicks Picks number.
One catch in the right part of the field can cash +340.
That belongs on this card.
Oronde Gadsden II — 40+ +434 / 50+ +730
One of my favorite yardage finds of the week.
I expect his opportunity to continue growing, and he's capable of creating chunk plays.
We don't need eight catches.
At +434 for 40+, a couple of plays could put us right there.
Then we can crank it up:
50+ at +730.
If we can get a good 60+ number before kickoff, I may add that to the moonshot arsenal too.
Houston: Dalton Schultz + Jaylin Noel
This is one of the most interesting situations on the entire board.
Nico Collins is OUT.
Those targets have to go somewhere.
And Houston gets Cincinnati.
So instead of pretending we know exactly who inherits everything, we're attacking it multiple ways:
Dalton Schultz TD +225
Dalton Schultz 80+ +418
Jaylin Noel TD +300
Jaylin Noel 60+ +410
The key is that we rotate them.
I'm not putting all four into the same parlay.
We're betting on increased opportunity and giving ourselves different ways to be right.
TIER 2 — UPSIDE PLAYS
These are guys I want involved, but not dominating the card.
Gunnar Helm — TD +650 / 40+ +263 / 50+ +457
That TD price is wild enough that it immediately becomes useful on smaller slips.
DeVonta Smith — 90+ +290
Simple yardage play. If Philly's passing game opens up, this number is reachable without needing to predict a TD.
Chris Olave — 100+ +291
We're asking for a big game, but we're getting almost 3-to-1 for it.
Derrick Henry — 15+ receiving +259 / 25+ +600
This is the weird stuff I love.
I'm not betting Derrick Henry to suddenly become a slot receiver.
I'm betting that one or two catches can create a disproportionate payout.
Alec Pierce — 100+ +910 / 110+ +1320
Pierce is one of my favorite weapons, but not an anchor.
He's a big-play receiver.
That's why I actually prefer his yardage ladder over his TD.
A couple bombs and suddenly 100 yards isn't crazy.
The catch?
It's the primetime game.
So we're going to use him sparingly and mostly on the smaller slips.
But +910 and +1320 can absolutely change the math on a parlay.
TIER 3 — SPRINKLES
These aren't bad picks.
They're picks where I want controlled exposure.
Jalen Hurts TD +145
T.J. Hockenson TD +300
Pat Freiermuth TD +390
Lamar Jackson TD +180
Kyle Pitts TD +400
Bhayshul Tuten TD +165
Trevor Lawrence TD +390
Kalif Raymond 50+ +409
Javonte Williams 25+ +268 / 40+ +790
Deebo Samuel 60+ +352
Then there's:
Kendrick Bourne — 60+ +790 / 70+ +1340
Tough matchup.
But the volume is interesting.
And at +790 and +1340, we're being compensated for the risk.
This is exactly the kind of player I don't want on eight $10 tickets…
…but absolutely want somewhere on the $2 and $1 bombs.
THE MIAMI GARBAGE-TIME DEPARTMENT
San Francisco scares me.
Miami doesn't.
That's an important distinction.
I'm not betting on Miami controlling this football game.
I'm betting on the possibility that they spend a lot of time throwing the football while trailing.
So we have:
Malik Washington 60+ +359
Malik Washington TD +450
Caleb Douglas 80+ +599
Caleb Douglas TD +450
Malik Willis TD +310
These will be used sparingly.
If Miami completely implodes, I don't want it destroying the card.
If garbage time gets weird?
We have exposure.
WHO GOT CUT?
Michael Wilson and Jalen Coker are OUT.
I liked both numbers initially, but I don't love the defensive matchups enough.
We're also removing:
Bijan Robinson receiving yards
Demario Douglas TD
Dontayvion Wicks receiving
Rhamondre Stevenson receiving
Bucky Irving receiving
Devaughn Vele receiving
Jonnu Smith receiving
This is part of the process.
The goal isn't to find reasons to bet everything.
The cut is just as important as the picks.
NOW LET'S BUILD THE $200 CARD
Here's the structure:
8 × $10 = $80
16 × $5 = $80
15 × $2 = $30
10 × $1 = $10
49 parlays. $200 total.
The bigger the bet, the fewer things we're asking to happen.
As the wager gets smaller?
We start swinging.
THE $10 BETS
These are our foundation.
But we're still Nicks Picks.
I'm not trying to turn $10 into $32.
We're hunting three and four-digit payouts.

THE $1 MOONSHOTS
Ten dollars.
That's the entire risk.
This is where we stop worrying about being reasonable.
If we're going to risk $1?

THE FINAL CARD
49 bets.
$200 total risk.
And this week, the diversification is intentional.
I don't want one player killing 30 bets.
We're taking a lot of good plus-money ideas and combining them into different paths.
The $10 bets give us a chance to turn ten bucks into hundreds.
The $5 bets can turn five bucks into thousands.
The $2 bombs start chasing five figures.
And the $1 moonshots?
If the football gods decide to get weird…
we're ready.
One last thing:
These odds move.
Injuries happen.
Weather changes.
Roles change.
So this is the card right now.
We'll keep watching everything leading into kickoff and make any final adjustments if the information changes.
But for now?
Week 2 is loaded.
Small bets.
Big wins.
Hidden value.
Let’s ride.
GOOD LUCK!
-Nick
